| Tuberculosis Case Notification in 2011 |
National
Tuberculosis Control Program, Bangladesh informed that in 2011, 98942 new Smear
Positive cases (SS+ve), 3906 Relapse cases, 21915 Smear Negative (SS-ve) cases,
27334 Extra-Pulmonary TB (EPTB) cases and 3460 other forms of cases were
diagnosed.
The
proportion of smear positive notified cases was high in 2011 in
Bangladesh.
